The fifth annual Caribbean Poker Classic will be held on board the MS Freedom of the Seas from 16 – 23 November 2008. Punters will board the cruise vessel in Miami, Florida for a 16h30 departure time. Puerto Rico, St Thomas and St Maarten are all part of the itinerary, which also includes three full days of cruising and competition.
Day One Sunday 16 November 2008 – An official welcome cocktail party will take place from 8 – 10 in the evening outside the tournament room on Deck 2 and the first Supersatellite No Limit Holdem event will take place at 8pm sharp. Buy-in – $250 & $20.
Day Two Monday 17 November 2008 – Play begins at 12 noon with No Limit Hold Em. Buy-in – $300 & $30.
Day Three Tuesday 18 November 2008 – After a visit to San Juan, Puerto Rico the poker connoisseurs will be at it again from 8pm with No Limit Holdem, the buy-in this time will be $400 & $40.
Day Four Wednesday 19 November 2008 – After a day out enjoying the tropical island paradise of St Thomas, the tables will beckon yet again with the second Supersatellite No Limit Holdem, scheduled to kick-off at 8pm. The buy-in will be $250 & $20.
Day Five Thursday 20 November 2008 – Play begins at 8pm sharp with a No Limit Holdem event. Buy-in – $500 & $50. Earlier in the day gamblers could discover the sights and sounds of St Maarten.
Day six Friday 21 November 2008 – A noon start indicates the onset of the Main Event Day 1 which has a buy-in of $2500 & $200.
Day Seven Saturday 22 November 2008 – The Main Event Final kicks off at high noon but for those who have not had their fill of poker, there is a final No Limit Holdem event, with a buy-in of $1000 and $100 which starts at one in the morning.
